My regular hangout Reviewer: Victor Von from Camarillo, CA Been going here for the last five years. I really enjoy the happy hour bar menu- you can't beat it! The food is very good and consistent. If you want to meet for a date, this is a place to impress your partner. It has a higher end atmosphere and most of the patrons dress for dining. I think the name is deceiving as it is more of a restaurant than a "grill"

Possibly the best restaurant in Camarillo This may well be the best restaurant in Camarillo, at least in the "California Cuisine" category. There are better places in neighboring towns, but for Camarillo, this is the place to go. They have a delicious lobster roll--not authentic by New England standards because they serve it on a French roll rather than a hot dog bun, but even still, it´s very tasty. Other sandwiches are good as well; burgers, tuna melts, chicken, etc. Their salads are also an excellent choice for lunch. Try the spinach salad with fresh fruit, feta cheese and almonds, with a poppy seed dressing; it´s light, wonderful and a unique. The pastas are another good choice. They also have a full bar, in case you´re in the mood for a martini or a nice Margarita. Service is friendly and usually prompt. Definitely my favorite place in Camarillo!

INCREDIBLE Reviewer: Matt and Elizabeth We ordered the rosemary half chicken and sides of garlic mashed potatoes. The food was so amazing that we still revel in the memory. We would recommend this restaurant to anyone, but make a reservation. It´s always packed.

YUM!! Reviewer: Camarillo Diner This is such a cool, unique place. Great service, fun atmosphere! They have so many specialties, like the Texas Tortilla soup and the New England Lobster Rolls! You just can´t find them anywhere these days! Happy hour is great and chekc out the end of the month bash...the last Friday of every month they have a great band and dancing. Great crowd, not too young, not too old. Just fun.

Great Food and Pleasant Atmosphere I went to California Grill for lunch on a recommendation from a friend. Prices were reasonable and the atmosphere was really nice. The kitchen is open, so you can see the cooks and there is also a bar on the side to get a drink before dinner. The tortilla soup is one of their specialties and I recommend it. Our service was a bit slow, but not too bad. I haven´t seen their dinner menu, but I defnintely recommend this place for lunch, whether it be business or pleasure.

Good food, great place! Reviewer: Linda P. We have been lunching here for years and find the specials really reflect the talents of the chefs. The tortilla soup is sweet and spicy, a perfect combination of flavors in a bowl. The fish is always fresh and delectable. The servings are large and they keep your beverages filled. The staff is the best in town, friendly and knowledgable, but not pushy or in your face. Our out of town friends always request we go for lunch! Dinner is terrific too! We just don´t go as often! Great wine list.

I´ll definatly be back I have lived in Camarillo 27 years and went to eat lunch here for the first time. What a treat, Food was very good, portions were very generous. I very rarely leave a 20% tip but the waiter we had was the best we´ve ever had!! Now ican see why it´s always so crowded there.
