Ventura is blessed to have camping right along or very near the beaches.  There's something wonderful about waking up to the sound of surf and the small of salt mixed with wood fires. Emma Wood State Beach - This is an interesting camping spot that is so close to the water that in some places the camp sites have disappeared into the surf.  (Don't worry, though, they don't make you camp there!)  Easy to access and many amenities within walking distance. San Buenaventura State Park & Beach - Two miles of surf and sand and many amenities, make this a popular camping destination to people all over the country.  Within the boundaries of the park there are more than just a few things to keep you busy! Ventura RV - Close to the water and loaded with excellent amenities, this private campground is always a busy place.  Amenities range from a fully stocked camp store to a pool.
