Hearst Castle - This incredible home of newspaper giant William Randolph Hearst is worth the drive to San Simeon.  It would be worth the drive even if it were further!
		Santa Barbara Zoo - Just a half hour up the coast, this charming zoo has a park-like setting, incredible views of the ocean and Channel Islands, and a wonderful variety of birds and mammals.
		Aquarium of the Pacific - This wonderful aquarium specializes in the Pacific ocean and features enormous tanks, interactive exhibits, sea lion shows and well designed exhibits depicting the major regions of the Pacific Ocean.
		Disneyland - A California classic that is just two hours away.
		Knotts Berry Farm - Another California classic, this theme park is a huge hit with kids of all ages.
		Six Flags Magic Mountain - Boasting the largest number of rollarcoasters anywhere, this park is a screamers dream.
		Universal Studios - Between the theme park and their new City Walk, there is plenty here to entertain just about everybody.
