| This
neighborhood park is very well done and of all the parks
we visited it had the widest array of visitors. Of
course there were the families, but there were also a fair
number of business people in suits carrying their bagged
lunch. They dotted the numerous tables, enjoying the
peaceful setting and the relative privacy of the park.
Amenities include a large
children's play area, picnic and grilling facilities,
horseshoe pits and a basketball court. There is also
an indoor recreation facility and restrooms.
Directions:
From the 101 take Johnson Avenue. At the Ralston
Street lights, turn right. The park is to your
right. It can be easy to miss because it's up a
hilly embankment and is very close to the intersection.
