simple park is a city block of trees and grass. It's
a perfect place to bring a picnic lunch and read a good
book. Many people walk their pets (although Ventura
has a leash law) and others just stroll around the perimeter.
There are no amenities
and the park is a good ten blocks from the heart of town,
but is a lovely spot of green in the city.
Directions:
From the center of downtown, take Main Street southeast
until you see the spot of green on your left. The
park is nestled between Main St. and Poli St. and the
crossroad is Aliso Lane.
