Boys and Girls Club of Ventura - This youth services organization is dedicated to improving physical, emotional, and moral well-being of youth in our community. Their goal is to provide youth with a  sense of belonging,  strong, positive role models, recognition, attention and acceptance,  reinforcement of positive behavior, opportunities for success. The Rubicon Theater Company - This non-profit organization has their stated mission to present high-quality professional theater for the entertainment, enrichment and education of the community. Founded in November of 1998 by Karyl Lynn Burns and James O’Neil, this theatre is well-known for its high caliber productions. Ventura County Community Foundation - In operation since 1987, VCCF  has brought people and organizations together to make a positive impact on the community. Through leadership and grant support of the community’s cultural, education, social, health, environmental, recreational and community development needs. Ventura Foundation for the Arts - This organizations stated goal is to build a Village for the Arts in Ventura's Downtown Cultural District for Theatre, Music, Dance, and Visual Art.  In the meantime they provide an excellent website that provides a central database for arts related events in the area.  Their vision of the downtown district, by the way, is wonderful.
