The Historic Pierpont Inn & Spa was built in Ventura, California back in 1910, in part to accommodate the auto enthusiast traveling up and down the Pacific Coast Highway in a new fangled invention, the automobile. Weary travelers needed a hotel along the California coast to rest and recharge with a home cooked meal. Josephine Pierpont rose to the challenge and commissioned famous architect, Sumner P. Hunt to design a Craftsman bungalow style inn which would later become the hotel in Ventura, CA as it is today. Our Ventura hotel property encompasses decades of rich architecture featuring two 1925 English Tudor Revival cottages and a 1935 Spanish Revival Banquet Center. The romantic California coastal charm of the Pierpont Inn & Spa has made our Ventura Beach hotel a favorite location for weddings and receptions, family reunions, corporate retreats and great overnight getaways for over 100 years. With sweeping panoramas of the Pacific Ocean and cozy craftsman-style architecture, this 77-room historic hotel in Ventura County, California is situated on a bluff overlooking the ocean surrounded by lush landscaping. Pierpont Inn & Spa Ventura Beach Hotel features more than 10,000 square feet of meeting space, with 10 conference rooms ranging from 200 to 3,700 square feet. The Pierpont Pavilion hosts larger gatherings up to 250 individuals, while the Spanish Revival Mansion, The Vickers Estate is perfect for executive retreats and team building seminars.
